Hi, I just have updated the README.md file.
It consists:

Document features, supported models/encodings, and tech stack
Add project structure, env vars, and scripts
Explain tokenization (tiktoken vs Hugging Face) and segments
Document POST /api/v1/encode and configuration
Add development and testing notes, license and acknowledgments
